Sampling
Looper
A loop pedal: record a phrase, it repeats, and you can keep layering on top.
Learn about it in Sampling & live sound
How it works
Press REC (or send a gate to REC) to start recording; stop to set the loop length — it starts repeating immediately. Press again to overdub: new sound is added on top while Keep sets how much of the old layer survives each pass (100% = forever, lower = it slowly fades away). CLEAR erases everything.
Inputs
| IN | What to record. |
|---|---|
| REC | Record/overdub while high (works alongside the button). |
| CLEAR | A trigger erases the loop. |
Outputs
| OUT | The loop, plus the input passing through. |
|---|
Knobs and switches
| Loop | Loop playback volume. |
|---|---|
| Thru | How much of the live input passes straight through. |
| Keep | How much of the existing loop survives an overdub pass. |
