Sampling
Sampler
Plays back a recording — a drum loop, your voice, any audio file.

How it works
Pick a built-in sample, drop an audio file onto the module, or press REC to record from your mic (up to 30 s). A rising GATE plays it from Start to End; drag on the waveform to move those markers. In GATE mode it plays only while the gate is held; LOOP repeats the region; REV plays it backwards. V/OCT and Tune change speed and pitch together, like a record.
Inputs
| GATE | Starts playback (and stops it in GATE mode). |
|---|---|
| V/OCT | Speed/pitch, 1.0 per octave. |
| START | Adds to Start, sampled at each trigger. A sequencer here chops a loop into slices. |
Outputs
| OUT | The sample. |
|---|
Knobs and switches
| Start | Where playback begins. |
|---|---|
| End | Where it stops (or loops). |
| Tune | Speed in semitones. |
| Level | Output volume. |
Patches to try
- Clock 1/8 → GATE and Sample & Hold → START: an endlessly remixed breakbeat.
