Utility
EQ
A three-band equaliser: turn the bass, middle and treble up or down.
Learn about it in Filters: carving the sound
How it works
Low lifts or cuts everything below about 200 Hz, High everything above about 4 kHz. Mid boosts or cuts a band around Mid Freq — sweep it with Mid turned up to find a sound’s honk or harshness, then turn Mid down to remove it. Unlike a filter, nothing is removed entirely; it just changes the balance.
