Effects
Mod FX
The classic swirling modulation effects: chorus, phaser and flanger.
Learn about it in Effects & mixing: space, width and punch
How it works
All three mix the sound with a moving copy of itself. CHORUS uses longer, gently wobbling delays (one per side) for a lush, doubled sound. PHASER passes it through sweeping all-pass filters, carving moving notches. FLANGER uses a very short delay with feedback for the jet-plane whoosh. L and R outputs are stereo.
