Noise
Random signal — hiss, wind, surf, snare body, or a random source for Sample & Hold.
Learn about it in Oscillators: where every sound starts
How it works
White noise has equal energy at every frequency (bright hiss). Pink rolls off the highs (more natural, like rain). Brown rolls off even more (deep rumble).

- Noise → VCA with a short ADSR → hi-hats and snares.
Lessons that use the Noise
Each one opens as a working patch in the synth.
